Hello & welcome

My name is Rebecca, I am a certified relational gestalt counsellor and AASW registered social worker. I offer a private practice counselling service for individuals & couples based on the far South Coast of NSW, Australia.

My approach to your well-being is holistic & compassionate, person-centred, trauma aware, & grounded in evidence based attachment and developmental theories.

Drawing on over two decades of professional experience, I integrate a strengths-based therapeutic approach to therapy, wellness & ADHD coaching, incorporating additional training in mindfulness, nutrition, and lifestyle factors.

I support people from various life stages & backgrounds who are wanting to understand & resolve their feelings of distress & worry so that their lives become more enjoyable and less stressful. I help them to develop a wider range of coping strategies that can be used in their everyday life to empower feelings of self-agency.

Having someone listen & compassionately witness your situation could just be the place that could help alleviate the difficulty you are experiencing

Worry, overwhelm, grief, low moods, health challenges, hormonal shifts & aging, ND assessments, family/relationship problems & changes, small business & career/work stress are just some of the issues people book an appointment with me to discuss. For some people it’s something emotionally difficult they just can’t put their finger on but they know something isn’t quite right.

Sessions are held in-person or/& telehealth(video or phone). If you’re local to the area, getting support in the community you live can feel a little nerve wracking for some. Rest assured I understand this and always uphold strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
