Rebecca Creighton Anxiety Counsellor Dalmeny Far South Coast Wellness Coach

Hello & welcome

My name is Rebecca, I am a certified relational gestalt counsellor and AASW registered social worker. I offer a private practice counselling service for individuals & couples based on the far South Coast of NSW, Australia.

My approach to your well-being is holistic & compassionate, person-centred, trauma aware, & grounded in evidence based attachment and developmental theories.

Drawing on over two decades of professional experience, I integrate a strengths-based therapeutic approach to therapy, wellness & ADHD coaching, incorporating additional certifications in mindfulness, restorative yoga & nutrition.

I offer both in-person or/& telehealth(video or phone) sessions. If you’re local to the area, getting support in the community you live can feel a little nerve wracking for some. Rest assured I understand this and always uphold strict confidentiality and privacy standards.

I support people from various life stages & backgrounds who are wanting to understand & resolve their feelings of distress & worry so that their lives become more enjoyable and less stressful. I help them to develop a wider range of coping strategies that can be used in their everyday life to empower growth & feelings of self-agency.

I help couples:

  • Find a way forward after a painful event

  • Reconnect & become more tuned into each others needs

  • Talk through sensitive topics, including money, infidelity, separation, addiction

  • Learn how to communicate with each other again

  • Make decisions around family life

  • Who are trying to conceive or deciding if they want to become parents

  • Who have experienced a trauma and need a supported space to talk through what has occurred

I help individuals:

  • Emotionally process & develop insight around past, current or anticipated worries, stress & overwhelm

  • Develop coping strategies to improve their daily lives, including accommodations or adjustments

  • Reconnect with self-agency

  • Talk through patterns that are destructive

  • Develop body & mind awareness with mindfulness techniques

  • Process grief & loss

  • Gain clarity on the issue & what their needs & hopes for change are

Maybe you know it’s time to get support & stop managing alone.

Many people spend years putting up with feeling low, burnt out & trying to outrun stress & worry.

I offer support that is gentle, compassionate & empathic, helping you get to know your experience fully & develop strategies for growth. Having someone listen & compassionately witness your situation could just be the place that could help alleviate the difficulty you are experiencing.
